This year, the event is the first global conference to go online from Dubai, featuring world-class caliber experts, academics, and senior policy makers as they come together to examine the most effective solutions that free zones can access in the face of new challenges in a rapidly changing industry landscape.<br \/><br \/><br \/><\/p><p>Dr. Mohamed Alzarooni, Chairman of the World FZO explained that \u201cmore than ever before, the World Free Zones Organization has enhanced the way it serves the needs of its members and stakeholders by making the key content of its annual event available online as a collection of carefully crafted videos for everyone to access.\u201d<\/p><p><br \/><br \/><br \/>Each of the five plenary sessions of the event will be available online by 30 April 2020 as streaming videos with free registration. These panel discussions will bring together over 20 expert speakers around key topics including public-private collaborations, sustainability strategies, the role of incentives and regulation, as well as the balance between infrastructure and manpower investments in free zones. Key questions will address practical issues facing free zones and their stakeholders, with each panelist providing specific views and recommendations for each topic. Standalone videos of each speaker will also be featured for a more detailed angle on their individual views and insights. Overall, over 30 different videos will be accessible through the World FZO website. Dr. Mohamed Alzarooni defined this as \u201ca unique approach to online event content, with curated comments assembled to show the different sides of important issues, and separate dedicated films to showcase the views of each panellist in full.\u201d<br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/>Some of the Panelists and Feature Speakers include Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary General, UNCTAD, H.E. Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sinisa Mali, and Serbian Minister of Finance, along with many others. The latest reports from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the World Customs Organization will be examined. Representatives from the International Labor Organization, the World Bank, and other large multi-lateral organizations will be prominently featured as well.<br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/>Speakers will also give their opinions on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and its repercussions on free zone business in different industries across the world. \u201cWe have invested significant time to give each speaker a podium to express their views,\u201d explained Dr. Mohamed Alzarooni. \u201cThis will ensure that viewers have in-depth access to each panelist through dedicated content and more detailed interviews.\u201d This unprecedented online access will offer free zone stakeholders precious actionable information to enhance their activities in the most efficient and effective way.<br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/>Since the World FZO was created in 2014, the AICE has consistently provided insights and constructive solutions to help free zones enhance their services and deliver more value to all their stakeholders, from their host economies to their member companies.
