The event will be held at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre on 28 &#8211; 31January.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><p>DAFZ&#8217;s participation in the region\u2019s biggest and the world\u2019s second biggest exhibition, comes to consolidate its presence in the healthcare and medical service industry in the region. It will also highlight the role it plays in attracting international key players in the industry to Dubai, in line with the Dubai Plan 2021 and economic diversification policies. The event is considered one of the key platforms for global companies aiming to showcase their services and products, and launch or expand their operations in the region. Investments in healthcare sector in the UAE is expected to reach $32.2 billion in 2027 up from $16.9 billion in 2017.<\/p><\/div><div><div><p>As a result of the great infrastructure facilities suitable for operations and growth, world-class services, and operational facilities provided by DAFZ; multinational companies represent 40% of the total companies operating in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, health services and equipment industry at DAFZ<\/p><\/div><div><div>DAFZ will also be showcasing two packages; including the Premium, which provides a trade license, two residency visas, and a 25sqm furnished office space; and Premium Plus, which provides a trade license, six residency visas, and a 50sqm furnished office space.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Also at the event, DAFZ will be showcasing the features of its Light Industrial Units provided to these types of companies. The 350sqm insulated units can be used as storage and distribution warehouses, with an office on the ground floor. These options serve the different needs of companies in these sectors; from size, flexibility, cost efficiency, and competitive rates.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>DAFZ\u2019s participation will also include showcasing more than 2,000 new business domains which were introduced last July and can be selected for the trade license. The businesses were divided into 18 key categories, in line with the UN&#8217;s International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC4), which is the international standard of businesses globally.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>This step was taken after a revision by DAFZ of the registration and licensing fees in 2018, and new investors\u2019 visa fees. DAFZ\u2019s registration fees were reduced by 65%, employee visa fees by 20%, certificate of origin fees by 17. These incentives facilitated providing new investors with public trading licenses, by decreasing the capital limit from AED1 million to AED500,000. The companies are also able to be incorporated as \u201cFree Zone &#8211; Limited Liability Companies\u201d to allow for a greater flexibility in incorporating, and operating businesses.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Healthcare companies operating within DAFZ include, Johnson &amp; Johnson; Forever Living; Abbott Laboratories; MED-EL Medical Electronics; NSK Middle East; Paul Hartmann Middle East; Vygon Middle East; The Himalaya Drug Co; Hetero; Nipro Middle East; amongst other.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8211;
