DAFZ tees off with tenants in the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Dubai, UAE, 23 November 2011: Dubai Airport Freezone organized its 2nd Annual Golf Day Out and set out to the greens with representatives of various companies in the free zone. The Golf Tournament which concluded last week, was held at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.

The play-off was attended by Nasser Al Madani, Assistant Director General, Jamal Bin Marghoob, Acting Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications and around 80 invitees from Dubai Airport Freezone tenants. The winners were awarded with trophies and valuable prizes at the award ceremony and dinner based on individual and team performances as well as prizes for 'nearest to the pin' and 'longest drive.' The winner team comprised of: Sidney D'souza, Ashok Galgotia, Mohammad Al Banna and Koichi Murata.

The event was part of an initiative by Dubai Airport Freezone to share golfing talents and provide a networking opportunity with an objective to gain valuable insights, reinforcing its commitment to customer satisfaction and strengthening its existing relations.

The Dubai Airport Freezone Annual Golf Day Out is a highly awaited sporting event amongst UAE's corporate crowd and the freezone's officials to reunite and interact with one another while furthering interest in the sport and demonstrating golf's growing popularity in the UAE.

While speaking at the Golf Day Out, Mr. Nasser Al Madani expressed his gratitude to all the attendees and said that, "In golf as in life, it is the follow through that makes the difference.
