DAFZA donates AED2m for Suqia initiative to provide fresh water for 80,000 people

​Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) announced its participation in the UAE Suqia initiative launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide clean water to five million people worldwide.

 

DAFZA has donated AED 2 million for the humanitarian initiative to provide drinking water for 80,000 people.

 

Dr Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General of DAFZA said:" DAFZA is keen on supporting the initiative launched in the Holy Month of Ramadan as it believes in the importance of participating in charity and giving a helping hand to a variety of generous philanthropy campaigns.  Its participation also stems from its national belief and the UAE's commitment to offering humanitarian aid at home and overseas to millions of needy people."
